He killed a bird once with a throw from the outfield, that alone makes him the best athlete ever.
He was a great athlete. I don't remember which NFL team. I was at Yankee Stadium a long time ago, and saw him hit a home run. I have never seen a ball hit that hard. He lined it into the left field seats. The ball had no arc on it.
